Goodbye Dad , hard to put into words how much I miss you. I know you used to speak to me about this moment and how hard you found it after losing your parents, i didn’t understand then but now it makes sense, the hurt of losing you is incredible! Like my brothers n sister all the memories are us laughing and wiping tears from our faces, usually about someone braking wind. Dad most the time 😂. You were everything we needed in a Dad and more! You were my friend aswell as my dad and will miss our trips to KFC on Tuesdays! I don’t know how to live without you yet but I know us Chenery’s won’t be the same without u! You always told me how proud you were of all of us and you will always love us! Hope you knew I was proud to call you Dad. Your last words to me the night before you died were “ take care darren” I said “I love you dad” the way we were meant to end our time together! Hope you knew how much I meant it! Look down on us from time to time Dad, Il still try and make you proud. Love you x
